What is an ACBC?

An Associate Canine Behavior Counselor (ACBC) has been board certified through the Association of Companion Animal Behavior Counselors

Certification requires four things

  1. Graduated from an Approved Education Provider, which means that the school has been reviewed by the board and is educating the students to their standards.
  2. Went through a Mentorship period.
  3. Passed a practical test with a CBC indicating the the person can actually practice the theory of learning principles.
  4. Must have 80 Continuing Education Units every three year to remain certified.
